Caliloko Is Expanding Its In-Store Presence In California And South Africa

We are excited to announce that we have expanded our presence in California and South Africa.

“As we are targeting new geographic markets, California is perfect for Caliloko. For our first entry, we selected Squash Zone, a private member club and the host facility of Squash on Track in Redwood City, California,” said Nathalie de Champlain, Caliloko Founder. Squash on Track is a non-profit after-school program that helps students boost their confidence through squash, academics, and community outreach. “The mission and values of their club resonates strongly with me and coincides with my own vision of what squash can do to enhance one’s life. Associating Caliloko with this organization was an easy decision,” she added.

“I started wearing Caliloko compression calf sleeves and Recovery tights, and I LOVE them!” said Richard Elliott, General Manager and Director of Squash at Squash Zone. Born in England, Richard started playing squash at the age of 13. By 19, he ranked in the top 30 in the UK, and 107th in the world. He now enjoys over 30 years of coaching experience throughout the world, including coaching Stanford University’s varsity squash team for the past six years.

“Our expansion in South Africa was possible through a distribution agreement with Dawid Visser, CEO and Founder of Pure Endurance Solutions. Dawid is an x-track runner, a road runner, a duathlete and a triathlete. When he came across Caliloko, he saw the opportunity for the South African market to discover a unique brand created in the US that helps athletes perform stronger and feel amazing,” explained Nathalie.

“My wife, a medical doctor and endurance athlete, always struggled to find the perfect sportsbra until I came accross Caliloko. Once she tried it, I immediately got the thumbs up from her to bring this premium product to the South African market,” said Dawid.

To start, the brand is available online, at Runners Lab and at Run — running stores located in Cape Town, Durbanville and Rustenburg, South Africa.
